About Client

The implementation of an accurate people counting system allowed Jeanswest to achieve several objectives, including:
  • Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and obtaining accurate data to compare the performance of different stores
  • Creating an effective criterion to reward and motivate store managers and employees based on conversion rates
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of advertising activities and analyzing customer behavior to improve marketing strategies
  • Identifying stores with the lowest conversion rates, identifying the root causes of poor performance, and evaluating the effectiveness of corrective measures
  • Optimizing the number of employees in each store based on hourly and daily traffic data to reduce operational costs while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Overall, the implementation of a reliable people counting system allowed Jeanswest to make data-driven decisions and improve the performance of their stores.

Challenges

As the number of Jeanswest stores in Iran continued to increase, it became increasingly challenging to monitor the performance of store managers. Some managers would attribute sales reductions to a reduced number of visitors, which could not be verified. To address this issue, the technical manager decided to use the conversion rate, which is the ratio of customers to the total number of visitors, to evaluate the performance of Jeanswest stores. However, to do this effectively, a reliable people counting system was needed. Initially, a people counter system was imported, but it had several drawbacks, including inaccurate inbound traffic data and a lack of technical support from the manufacturer to address the errors. Therefore, the technical manager began to search for a people counting system that would not only provide accurate data but also have reliable technical support.
